We are currently seeking applications for a Physiotherapist to join our Residential Aged Care Team at the Cove on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight. 

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for completing initial physiotherapy assessments to understand each clients unique goals and contribute to the development of each clients individual care plan. The Physiotherapist will also be responsible for developing an individualised therapy program for each client to support them to reach their rehabilitation goals.  The Physiotherapist role includes supervision of a team of therapy assistants. The Physiotherapist plays an active role in the weekly site MDT to support safe and effective care.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Strong commitment to providing safe, high quality care
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated experience as a Physiotherapist to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care
  • Demonstrated diverse clinical work placement during their training 
  • Experience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and supervising therapy assistants
  • Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines
  • Current satisfactory National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months)
  • Possess a current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
  • Evidence of up to date flu vaccination
  • Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
