An exciting opportunity is available for a reliable and motivated Physiotherapist (junior or senior) to join our Capacity Building Program Team at Brightwater! Graduates are more than welcome to apply! 

This role is offered on both fulltime and part time capacities, working Monday to Friday with our clients in the community. You will have access to hybrid work arrangements working out of any of our lovely Brightwater facilities across the Perth Metro or from the comfort of your home. 

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering the program with support from dedicated allied health team coordinator, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, social worker, nurses and community support workers.

To be successful for the role, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong commitment to providing, and the capability to deliver, safe high quality care.
  • Demonstrated experience and competency as a PT to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong person-centred skills in communicating and engaging with clients with high support needs including cognitive impairment, brain injury, and dementia.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation; Aged Care Act (1997); and/or Disability Services Commission Standards (1988).
  • First Aid Certificate less than 3 years old (desirable; essential if providing services for Brightwater At Home clients).
  • Valid Driver's license as defined by the Department of Transport of Western Australia (DoT) 
  • A safe, registered, and suitably insured motor vehicle able to be used for work purposes.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
