We’re currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Technology Services team and play a key role in driving system, process and service improvements across the organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager – Business Systems, this role partners closely with stakeholders across the business to understand needs, analyse processes, and translate requirements into practical, value-driven technology solutions.

You will work across both strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities, acting as a trusted connection between business users and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors
  • Analyse current (“as-is”) processes and design improved future-state (“to-be”) solutions
  • Elicit, document and manage functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Develop high-quality artefacts including process maps, workflows, use cases and specifications
  • Support solution delivery through UAT planning, validation and issue resolution
  • Contribute to change management, training and transition-to-operations activities
  • Monitor post-implementation outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure alignment with governance frameworks, policies and organisational values

About you

You’re an analytical and collaborative Business Analyst who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and turning complexity into clarity. You’re confident influencing outcomes and passionate about improving systems and processes that support meaningful services.

You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Business or a related field (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience in business analysis within a complex organisational environment
  • Strong understanding of business systems, applications and reporting environments
  • Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation capability
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and thrive in a changing environment
  • Experience in aged care, disability, community services or a related sector (desirable)
  • Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance
