This is a unique opportunity for an experienced educator and leader to step into a pivotal role that will influence how education, training, clinical practice and workforce capability are delivered across Brightwater.

 

As the Clinical Educator Team Leader, you will lead and develop a team of Staff Development Nurses and Learning & Development Coaches, in collaboration with the Manager Education & Clinical Specialty, setting the strategic direction for education and training across Residential Aged Care, Disability and Community Services.

You will drive innovation in learning design, champion excellence in education and ensure our workforce has the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding care.

 

Working alongside senior operational managers, you will play a key role in translating organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives into meaningful workforce development programs.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in nursing or an allied health discipline requiring AHPRA registration, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a clinical workforce.
  • Proven ability to establish strategic direction and translate organisational priorities into executable operating plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, competency-based assessment, clinical skills development, blended learning and evaluation of education outcomes.
  • Strong experience establishing education governance and quality-assurance and evaluation systems.
  • High-level communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Strong digital capability, including use of learning management systems, Microsoft applications, reporting tools and contemporary education technologies.
  • Valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia and capacity to travel across Brightwater sites and community service locations.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
