Are you an experienced community aged care Registered Nurse?
Come and join the Brightwater at Home team within the Perth Metro area.

Due to growth in the community, Brightwater are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the community nursing team, who will cover the southern and central regions.  We partner with our clients, supporting them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

The ideal candidate can commit to ongoing shifts each week, between Monday to Friday. RN’s that reside in the lower central to southern regions are highly desirable and should have a willingness to travel between clients.

Community aged care experience is essential for this position to meet the needs of our clients.

Our shifts typically run from 8am to 4pm (with some flexibility) and we have full time hours available for the right candidates.

Additional opportunities available for part time work with a minimum of 3x weekdays *

The Role:

As a Community Registered Nurse, you will need to have advanced clinical assessment skills and experience with wound care, catheters, and diabetes management. This role involves working in the community and visiting clients in their own homes under aged care packages and the TCC program. You will need exceptional problem solving, time management, and decision-making abilities to promote choice, control, and quality of life for our clients.

To be successful, you will possess the following:

  • Current Registration with the AHPRA.
  • a minimum of 2 years (post grad) RN experience working within community aged care setting.
  • Experience with wound care, catheters, and diabetes management.
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change in a care or service- related environment.
  • Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients.
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Hold a WA drivers’ licence and own a reliable car, to travel to clients. 
  • An understanding that travel within the metro area is a requirement of this position.
