The Opportunity:

Brightwater is seeking a Content Developer (Fixed-term basis up to 3 months) to develop engaging, high-quality learning content to build capabilities across the organisation. Collaborate with subject matter experts and leverage multimedia tools to create interactive training experiences that improve performance and support organisational growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative, accessible learning solutions (eLearning, face-to-face, blended) aligned with the Training Matrix.
  • Create multimedia content including graphics, videos, voiceovers, and animations using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and narration software.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives, develop storyboards, scripts, and tailored learning plans.
  • Leverage instructional design principles and emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance learner engagement.
  • Review and update learning materials for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate and support workshops, events, and broader L&D initiatives.
  • Manage LMS content, including course setup, configuration, and updates.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience designing, developing, and evaluating L&D programs
  • Strong multimedia content creation skills (graphics, videos, narration, animations)
  • Proficiency with Articulate Storyline/Rise, and familiarity with AI tools for engagement
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and varied learning styles
  • Experience working with stakeholders to develop tailored learning solutions
  • Highly competent in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (desirable)
  • Qualifications in Aged Care and/ or Adult Learning (desirable)
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate (within the last 12 months).
