We currently have an opportunity for an EXPERIENCED aged care Enrolled Nurse to join our Brightwater Birralee team.

Located in Innaloo, Brightwater Birralee is a suburban home for a group of 30 permanent residents and 30 transition care clients.

Birralee provides high quality care for people with a range of different needs, including those with advanced dementia and high care needs.

On offer is a part time position, the ideally candidate will be available to cover all required shifts:

Week 1: Friday PM 16:00pm - 21:00pm, and additional fixed term cover is available for Wednesday PM.

Week 2: Wednesday PM 16:00pm - 21:00pm 

With the ability of additional shifts to cover planned and unplanned leave*

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 12 months post grad experience within aged care.
  • Deliver strong clinical care service.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach.
  • Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients.
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old
  • First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan by facilitating a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs.

Contributing to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients.
