The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll be a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team, working alongside registered nurses, allied health professionals, hotel services, and site administration staff. Together, we deliver high-quality care that promotes choice, independence, and a meaningful quality of life for our residents.

About the Site

Brightwater Madeley has 110 private rooms that span across six interlinking houses. Each house has an inviting and homely feel, with its own living room, kitchen and dining room. There is also an onsite café.

About the Role

The work is meaningful and rewarding, helping patients transition safely back to their homes or appropriate care settings.

The successful candidate will be working on a fixed term part time basis for until 13 February 2026.

• Week 1 Tuesday and Wednesday -3pm to 10.15pm
• Week 2 Wednesday and Friday-3pm to 10.15pm

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Support clients with daily living activities and rehabilitation goals
• Monitor and report changes in health status
• Exposure to rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and discharge planning enhances their versatility.
• Autonomy and Decision-Making
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers
• Assist in discharge planning and transition coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and care records

The successful candidate must have:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR Certificate (within 12 months)
• NDIS Clearance
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in aged care, with a focus on dementia care
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in care delivery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Leadership qualities and the ability to guide shifts with empathy and mentorship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to client wellbeing
