Opportunity for Casual Hotel Services Roles – Aged Care (Kingsley)

Brightwater Kingsley has 41 transition care beds and is a warm and welcoming home providing a place for people to stay temporarily before transitional back home or finding more suitable accommodation.

To meet growing operational needs, we are seeking experienced Hotel Services staff to join our team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity to work flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends—availability for both is essential.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting essential services within our facility, including kitchen, cleaning, and laundry duties.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role (aged care or similar setting preferred)
• Experience with commercial kitchen duties
• Knowledge of cooking and food preparation, including safe handling and presentation
• Understanding of food safety practices, including temperature control and danger zones
• Familiarity with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) levels
• Experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
• A caring, positive attitude with a genuine commitment to supporting older people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and problem-solve effectively

Mandatory Requirements

• Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends
• Current National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
