This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Care Workers to join our dedicated Transitional Care team working on a Casual Basis.

Brightwater Kingsley is a warm and welcoming home offering short-term care for individuals transitioning from hospital to home or to more suitable long-term accommodation.

About the Role

Whilst working as a Brightwater Multi Skilled Care Worker you will be a valuable member of our multi-disciplinary team and actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

To be considered for this role, you must be available to Casual Shifts as required.

Candidates will also be considered for similar future vacancies within the Brightwater team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering quality care and support to our clients
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
  • Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • An empathetic, compassionate nature and a client-focused approach
  • Experience working in dementia specific care will be viewed favourably
  • The ability to prioritise your workload safely and efficiently
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
