This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Multi Skilled Care Workers to join The Cove site in Dudley Park, Mandurah on a permanent part-time basis.

Multi Skilled Care Workers work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

The Cove has 131 private rooms and provides care to a diverse group of residents, including those living with dementia.  To be considered for this role candidates must have aged care experience, and this will preferably include the delivery of care to clients with dementia.

To be considered for this role you must be available to work at least three days each week, with preference given to candidates available on week days and for multiple shift types (mornings, afternoons and nights).

Candidates will also be considered for future similar vacancies at Brightwater.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering quality care and support to our clients
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
  • Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds
  • Aged-care experience and this will preferably include dementia care
  • An empathetic, compassionate nature with a client-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload safely and efficiently
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
