This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Care Workers to join our Oxford Gardens residential aged care team on a Casual Basis. Located near Lake Joondalup, Brightwater Oxford Gardens provides high quality care for people with a range of different needs, including those with advanced dementia and high care needs.

Whilst working as a Brightwater Multi Skilled Care Worker you will be a valuable member of our multi-disciplinary team and actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

To be considered for this casual role you must be available to work at least three days each week, with preference given to candidates available on week days and for multiple shift types (mornings, afternoons and nights).

Candidates will also be considered for similar future vacancies within the Brightwater team.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering quality care and support to our clients
• Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
• Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Aged-care experience and this will preferably include dementia care
• An empathetic, compassionate nature and a client-focused approach
• Ability to prioritise your workload safely and efficiently
• A Certificate III in Aged Care (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
