Brightwater Relief Pool - Northern Region-Guaranteed hours on offer!

We currently have several opportunities for experienced Multi Skilled Care Workers to join our Staff Relief Pool in the North Area. The pool will cover current aged care employees planned leave across multiple residential facilities on a permanent part-time basis.

As part of our Brightwater RAC team, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

Eligibility:

To be considered for this Relief Pool position, you must be available a minimum of 3 weekdays (Monday to Friday) each week.
You will also need to be available for at least 2 different shift types (Morning and Afternoon or nights) on those days.

The more days you are available, the more hours we can guarantee!

Suitable pool employees can be offered permanent part-time contracts for up to 60 hours per fortnight.

Our North Locations include:

North Region: Madeley, Kingsley, Oxford Gardens (Joondalup)

To be considered, you must be available to work at each of the facilities listed within the Pool locations above.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering quality care and support to our clients in a home environment
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
  • Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Two years aged-care experience
  • An empathetic, compassionate nature and a client-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise your workload safely and efficiently
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or equivalent)
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • Evidence of NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of up-to-date vaccinations
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week/two shift types each of those days
