Brightwater are seeking experienced Registered Nurses, with a passion for dementia care, to join our team north of the river at The Village in Inglewood and at Brightwater Inglewood.

Purpose-built to support people living with dementia, The Village offers a unique and supportive environment. The site features 56 private rooms across six individual houses, fostering a homely and person-centred approach to care.

Brightwater Inglewood is nestled in beautiful gardens and home to 128 residents with a range of different care needs.

Whilst working as a Registered nurse at either site you will be a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care. This position delivers inclusive and person-centred quality care and support in accordance with individualised client Care Plans to ensure optimal service provision that actively promotes choice, independence, and quality of life.

The role at Brightwater the Village is a permanent part-time role working 22.5 hours per fortnight. The vacant shifts to be covered by the successful candidate are:

• Week one – Friday PM 3pm-11.15pm
• Week two – Tuesday PM 3pm-11.15pm and Thursday PM 3pm-10.30pm

To be considered for this role you must be available to work these shifts each fortnight.

The role at Brightwater Inglewood is a permanent part-time role working 19.5 hours per fortnight. The vacant shifts to be covered by the successful candidate are:

• Week one – Friday PM 3pm-10pm
• Week two – Monday PM 3pm-10pm and Tuesday PM 3pm-10pm

To be considered for this role you must be available to work these shifts each fortnight.

To be successful, you will possess the following attributes:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• At least two years experience working as a Registered Nurse, with dementia care experience highly regarded
• Deliver a strong clinical care service
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach
• Be able to prioritise workload safely and efficiently with a focus on clients
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• First Aid Certificate (within three years) and CPR Certificate (within one year)
