Join the Brightwater Relief Pool - Guaranteed Hours at Multiple Locations and Flexible Opportunities!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Therapy Assistant to join our Staff Relief Pool and work across our South Region in Mandurah and Waikiki.

Whilst working as a member of the relief pool the successful candidate will cover planned leave across these residential facilities on a permanent basis, with a part-time contract of on offer for the successful candidate.

Eligibility:

To be considered for this Relief Pool position, you must be available a minimum of 3 weekdays (Monday to Friday) each week.

You will also need to be available for at least 2 different shift types (Morning and Afternoon) on those days.

The more days you are available, the more hours we can guarantee!

Suitable pool employees can be offered permanent part-time contracts for up to 60 hours per fortnight.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • The ability to prioritise your workload, problem solve and work safely and efficiently under pressure without direct supervision.
  • A positive, proactive and a client-focused approach
  • A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training.
  • A WA drivers’ licence and reliable car
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan by facilitating a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs
  • Contributing to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients
