Brightwater is looking for an Administration Assistant to join the dedicated reception team at our Oats Street Disability site located in East Victoria Park.

This is a permanent part-time role working 45 hours per fortnight. The hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. To be considered for this role you must be available to work these hours and days on a permanent basis.

As our Administration Assistant, you will be based at reception and the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and contractors. In this rewarding role you will foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere, provide critical administrative support to the Program Manager and ensure a customer-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide efficient administrative support, including liaising with clients and their team, scanning and filing, helping plan celebration events and reception duties
  • Build positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders

 What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Previous reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook and Word. A working knowledge of Canva is desirable
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills that build and develop teamwork and establishes collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to organise tasks, set priorities whilst under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • A current National Police Certificate (issued within the last 12 months)
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
