Brightwater is seeking a motivated Business Support Officer to join our high performing people and culture team on a permanent part time basis working 4 days per week! 

Reporting into the Manager Payroll & Workforce Governance, this newly created position will see you play a critical role in supporting the timely and compliant delivery of Brightwater’s payroll and compliance function.    

In your new role you will be responsible for the provision of detailed administrative support for all payroll processes such as maintaining and auditing employee records, preparing payroll inputs and coordinating remuneration related documentation, ensuring data integrity across the HRIS system.

Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Supporting the preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll.
  • Assisting in the administration and monitoring of compliance requirements.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries and providing accurate information and guidance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and streamlining processes.

 

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years recent experience working in or supporting a payroll function.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex administrative and data related tasks.
  • Experience using payroll or HRIS systems (PayGlobal desirable)
  • A strong customer-service focus with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • A valid National Police Clearance obtained within the last 12 months.
