Our Warnbro team is a passionate group committed to empowering clients to live with dignity and independence. They embody the Brightwater spirit—caring, authentic, progressive and courageous—and are looking for like-minded support workers to join them.

Located south of the river near Rockingham, Brightwater Warnbro is a supported community home for adults with complex disabilities. The service comprises two adjoining houses and provides a warm, welcoming home for 12 people. Clients have medium support needs and are supported to live as independently as possible, with assistance for day-to-day activities, including lifting with or without hoists.

We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join the team. To be considered, you must be available to work at least three weekdays per week. Preference will be given to candidates who can work a range of shift types.

Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work casual shifts at our Piara Waters Huntingdon Disease specific site.

Suitable candidates may also be considered for similar future vacancies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality care, support and assistance to clients in accordance with their individualised support plans
  • Ensure optimal service delivery that promotes choice, independence and quality of life

To be suitable for this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability
  • Experience supporting clients with complex conditions
  • A strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate inclusively with a diverse range of people
  • Strong person-centred skills and behaviours when communicating and engaging with clients who have high support needs
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, work effectively under pressure, solve problems and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently
  • A current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
