The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, passionate, and customer-focused Talent Acquisition Officer to join our People & Culture team and help us build a workforce which makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. This permanent full-time position is based in Inglewood and will support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment services across a diverse portfolio including clinical and corporate roles.

In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent by preparing and managing job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews and completing reference and compliance checks. You will play a key role in delivering an efficient, compliant, and engaging recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring our practices align with Brightwater's values, mission, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

What you’ll bring  

  • Previous experience in a similar, internal talent/recruitment position, ideally with experience recruiting for clinical and corporate roles.
  • Previous experience within the health, medical, age-care or disability industry.
  • Strong knowledge of valued-based recruitment practices and methods.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and provide positive stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, as well as assess and meet priorities through effective time management.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications and HR/recruitment databases.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to problem solve, identify areas for improvement and apply a high attention to detail.
  • High degree of initiative, motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understand importance of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, maintaining privacy at all times.
  • A recent and satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Current and valid driver's licence.
  • HR qualifications or progressing towards (desirable).
