Join our team as a qualified Enrolled Nurse

To support the growing needs of our service, we are seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses with dementia-specific expertise to join our team on a casual basis at our Oxford Gardens site.

Located near Lake Joondalup, Brightwater Oxford Gardens provides high-quality care for people with diverse needs, including those living with advanced dementia and requiring a high level of care.

The Role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, working alongside Registered Nurses, allied health professionals, hotel services and site administration staff. Together, you will deliver high-quality care that promotes choice, independence and a meaningful quality of life for our residents.

About You
You bring compassion, clinical expertise and a strong commitment to person-centred care. You will provide safe, respectful and individualised support that reflects each resident’s values and preferences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with hygiene, grooming, and continence care
  • Supporting nutrition, hydration, and medication administration
  • Facilitating mobility and providing wound care
  • Encouraging companionship and social engagement
  • Providing companionship and encouraging social engagement
  • Wound and falls management
  • Behaviours of concern and pain management
  • Medication administration and infection control

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR Certificate (within 12 months)
  • NDIS Clearance
  • At least two years’ experience in aged care, with a focus on dementia care
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in care delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to guide shifts with empathy
