Permanent part-time opportunities with guaranteed hours

Brightwater is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Care Workers to join our Northern Region Staff Relief Pool. In this permanent part-time role, you will provide planned leave coverage across several residential aged care facilities.

As a valued member of Brightwater’s residential aged care team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

Availability Requirements

To be considered for the Relief Pool, you must be available:

  • On at least three weekdays, Monday to Friday, each week
  • For at least two different shift types on each available day—for example, morning and afternoon, or morning and night shifts

The greater your availability, the more hours we may be able to guarantee. Only applicants who meet the role requirements will be contacted.

Northern Locations

The Relief Pool supports facilities in Madeley, Kingsley and Oxford Gardens (Joondalup). Applicants must be available to work at all listed locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in a residential environment
  • Ensure each client’s holistic needs are met in accordance with their care plan
  • Support site reporting, accreditation and legislative compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and promptly reporting incidents

About you

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • At least two years of experience in aged care
  • An empathetic, compassionate and client-centred approach
  • The ability to prioritise workload safely and efficiently
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or an equivalent qualification
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months
  • Evidence of a current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of up-to-date vaccinations
  • Availability to work at least three weekdays each week and two shift types on each available day
