We are seeking reliable and experienced Hotel Services team members to join our residential aged care team at our Birralee site.

Located in Innaloo, Brightwater Birralee is a suburban home for a group of 30 permanent residents and 30 Transition care clients.

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have experience across kitchenhand, laundry and cleaning services.

We currently have excellent permanent part-time opportunities available working PM shifts from 2.30pm to 7.30pm including 1 AM shift.

What you need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting, including kitchenhand experience (ideally in aged care)
• Flexibility to work when required
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role, including commercial kitchen duties, preferably in aged care or a comparable setting
• Knowledge of cooking and food preparation, including safe meal preparation and presentation standards
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety, including appropriate food temperatures and food temperature danger zones

• Knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) levels
• Knowledge and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
• A caring and positive attitude

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, solve problems and use resources safely, efficiently and effectively

• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
