Brightwater is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Lead to drive innovative talent acquisition strategies and lead a high-performing recruitment team.

Role

In your new role, you will be tasked with the continuous partnering with the organization to uphold and maintain a customer-focused and proactive recruitment service. This role will see you shaping and introducing innovative strategies and best practices to both our internal recruitment team and key stakeholders to ensure organisational recruitment needs are met across the board. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a strong team of recruitment professionals and implementing and monitoring KPIs with a focus on efficiency and customer service.
  • Exploring and developing creative internal and external talent sourcing methods, building partnerships with external services and stakeholders in order to solidify recruitment pathways.
  • Consulting with internal stakeholders and providing expertise in relation to recruitment processes, systems and service needs.
  • Developing functional user guides and processes to ensure a uniform recruitment process.
  • Providing support, advice and updates to the internal recruitment team and stakeholders on any changes in employment contracts, terms and conditions of employment and legislation.
  • Updating and maintaining Job descriptions and registers to ensure updated industrial instruments and remuneration strategies and recommending improvements accordingly.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience developing relevant, innovative recruitment initiatives to support strategic objectives with strong knowledge of best-practice recruitment practices, methods and programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and use resources efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment systems (PageUp preferred), including technical system skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of industrial awards/agreements, relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including immigration processes (desirable).
  • Experience in both a recruitment leadership position or HR generalist overseeing recruitment is highly desirable.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence as defined by the Department of Transport WA (DoT)
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
