Disability Support Worker - Flexible shifts

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Disability Support Worker with significate experience to work across all our disability sites. 

You will be based at our Oats Street site located in East Victoria Park however you will be required to work at any of our other sites as required, covering vacant shifts and current disability employees planned leave. 


The ideal candidate will be someone with great availability and willing to be rostered to work at ALL sites within either the north or south region as shown below:

 

North Region:  

  • Balcatta
  • Kingsley
  • Marangaroo
  • Maylands
  • East Victoria Park

OR

South Region:  

  • Bentley
  • Cannington
  • Manning
  • Maylands
  • Belmont
  • Piara Waters
  • Warnbro

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
  • Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments and the ability to inclusively communicate with a diverse range of people Proven customer-focused work ethic
  • Strong person-centred skills and behaviours in communicating and engaging and with clients with high support needs
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • A First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) + CPR if more than 12 months old 
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
  • Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
