Our team our currently seeking Disability Service Workers to join our team on a permanent basis.

Situated south-of-the-river near Rockingham, Brightwater Warnbro is a supported community house for adults with complex disabilities. Consisting of 2 adjoining houses, Brightwater Warnbro is a warm and welcoming place for 12 people to call home. Our clients have medium support needs and live their lives as independently as possible, with extra support for day-to-day activities including assisted lifting with or without hoists.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
  • Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments and the ability to inclusively communicate with a diverse range of people Proven customer-focused work ethic
  • Strong person-centred skills and behaviours in communicating and engaging and with clients with high support needs
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
  • First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) and CPR (if First aid more than 12 months)
  • Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
