Our Domestic Cleaners provide cleaning services and domestic assistance support to our elderly clients living in their own private homes in the community, enabling them to live safely and independently while improving their quality of life.  

This position is also a good introduction into aged care in the community and a stepping stone into a Community Support Worker role if you decide to progress your career in this field.

 

We have the following permanent opportunities available for reliable Domestic Cleaners to assist our elderly clients living in the community and seeking cleaners that live in and around Stirling, Scarborough, Yokine, Leederville and surrounding suburbs (preference may be given to those that live close to our clients) 

You will ideally be able to work 4 days a week from 8.30am to 4.30pm (Monday's and Friday's essential)

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals
  • A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely using safe manual handling practices
  • Dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services
  • Ability to effectively communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse people in various environments
  • Customer focused and able to work without direct supervision in the community in diverse cultural and home environments
  • Flexible approach with work with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines
  • Willing to undertake training as and when required
  • Previous experience working in aged care or cleaning services (desirable)
  • Access to reliable licenced transport
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
