Are you an upcoming or recent Physio graduate? Brightwater is excited to open our allied health graduate program to new candidates for 2025! 

By understanding and knowing each of our New Graduates, we provide personal and professional development, mentoring with clinical experts, and Graduate led initiatives, to ensure our Program is a customised experience!

Being a New Graduate in our unique and supportive program, you’ll be engaging with clients to help them pursue the dignity of independence, while building the foundations of your new career.

Our Graduate Program provides you with a bespoke and diverse clinical experience, with supervision, mentorship and peer networking so you will:

  • Build your professional skills and confidence 
  • Manage your own caseload and deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions.
  • Develop knowledge translation across varied clinical areas.
  • Explore the depth and breadth of your profession within the aged care, disability and Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation sector.

About you

We are seeking amazing people who genuinely want to improve the lives of their clients. You must be:

  • Studying Physiotherapist
  • Looking for an authentic, caring, progressive and collaborative team culture.
  • A demonstrated team player who is committed to being part of a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals, nurses, therapy assistants, care workers.
  • Eligible for registration with AHPRA upon graduation, up to June 2025.
  • Able to work 4 or 5 days a week.

As a valued member of the Brightwater 2025 Allied Health New Graduate Program, you will benefit from:

12 or 24 month program – Choose after 12 months whether to continue in the program or step out into a work area in Brightwater that you want to expand your experience in.

  • Rotations through our diverse clinical areas: community aged care, residential aged care, community disability, acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Opportunity to nominate which clinical areas you would like to rotate through.
  • Supervision and mentoring with senior clinicians.
  • Structured, regular new graduate professional development program and peer networking. 
  • Conducting a meaningful quality improvement project with support.
  • Attendance at a conference in the second year of the program.
  • Option of working part time.
  • Option of starting prior to your AHPRA registration as a therapy assistant.
  • 5 weeks leave per year

Eligibility requirements:

  • Graduation achieved from June 2024 – June 2025.
  • Eligible for registration with AHPRA once graduated.
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • We also have the capacity to bring you on as a Therapy Assistant while you await AHPRA registration.
