An opportunity is available for a reliable and motivated Stores Driver to ensure goods are delivered in a timely and professional manner and maintain a clean, organised and orderly warehouse.

 

This position is based in Malaga and offered on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight. There is flexibility in working hours which are anywhere between 6.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Class Driver's License and experience in HR Driving
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Effective written, verbal and communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) in various environments with a wide range of people.
  • Sound numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics (desirable).
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Previous experience working in a Stores or Production facility (desirable).
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a service that is customer focused, ensuring all goods/equipment are delivered to the required standard
  • Ensure goods are delivered in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure truck remains roadworthy and reliable with daily inspection checks and, regular cleaning. Ensure all faults or irregularities are reported immediately
  • Perform truck driving duties including the loading and unloading of goods (trolleys, cages, bins, equipment) as required in a safe manner
  • Maintain accurate records of collection and delivery data required for effective service monitoring
  • Report and escalate any issues to the Operations Manager or Administrative Assistant
