We are seeking reliable and experienced Hotel Services team members to join the residential aged care team at our Madeley site. Our Madeley site is a 110-bed facility with dementia specific care and non-dementia specific care.

To be considered for this role you must be available on both weekdays and weekend shifts as required.

Contracts will be negotiated with successful candidates, with permanent part-time and casual shifts presented.

It is essential you have experience with Kitchenhand, Laundry & Cleaning services. Candidates that meet the criteria of this role will be considered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role which must include commercial Kitchen duties, preferably in aged care or a similar setting
  • Knowledge of cooking and food preparation. This should include an understanding of safe meal preparation and serving presentation
  • Demonstrated understanding of food safety – including appropriate food temperatures and food temperature danger zones
  • Knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) levels
  • Knowledge and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
  • A caring and positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
