This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Care Workers to join our residential aged care team based in Madeley on a casual or part-time basis. Our Madeley site is a 110-bed facility with dementia specific care and non-dementia specific care.

Whilst working as a Brightwater Multi Skilled Care Worker you will be a valuable member of our multi-disciplinary team and actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

We have a variety of shifts that need covering across both weekdays on weekends. Contract hours will be negotiated with successful candidates that meet the operational needs of this role.

To be considered for this role you must be available on both weekdays and weekend shifts as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering quality care and support to our clients
• Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
• Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• An empathetic, compassionate nature and a client-focused approach
• Experience working in dementia specific care will be viewed favourably
• The ability to prioritise your workload safely and efficiently
• A Certificate III in Aged Care (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
