This is a unique opportunity for a confident and experienced Registered Nurse to join our internationally recognised Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Program in East Victoria Park. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with acquired brain injuries to achieve meaningful, life-changing outcomes through personalised, goal-oriented rehabilitation.

The role requires a clinician who can work autonomously and independently, as well as being a good team member and work collaboratively with a broad team.

Why Join Brightwater?

This is more than a nursing role—it's an opportunity to be part of a progressive service that helps clients regain independence, confidence and quality of life.

You will receive a comprehensive orientation, ongoing coaching and the support of experienced senior clinicians, while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own caseload and contribute to innovative rehabilitation practices.

About the Role

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to Enrolled Nurses and the wider team.
  • Assess, plan and evaluate complex care needs.
  • Develop and review individualised care plans that promote client choice and independence.
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care and rehabilitation support.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

About You

You are a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in an autonomous role and has the confidence to make sound clinical decisions.

You will bring:

  •  Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
  •  Demonstrated post-graduate nursing experience
  •  Experience in case management and coordinating complex client care
  •  Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  •  The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  •  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  •  Experience in rehabilitation, neurology or acquired brain injury services (highly desirable)
  •  A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  •  Current First Aid Certificate and CPR

What's in it for You?

At Brightwater, we value and invest in our people.

You will enjoy:

  • Salary packaging up to $18,550 per year, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $10,000 annually
  • Access to BrightwaterPlus, offering discounts at more than 370 retailers
  • Private health insurance discounts and wellbeing benefits
  • Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities
  • The opportunity to work within a highly respected and innovative rehabilitation service
