We are currently seeking a dynamic Speech Pathologist to join our amazing Allied Health team, working across our North and Central Perth region, on a permanent full-time basis. Part time will also be considered. You will be working in a supportive multidisciplinary team.

About you and what you will need:

  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated competency as a Speech Pathologist to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care
  • Strong person-centred skills in communicating and engaging with clients with high support needs including cognitive impairment, brain injury, and dementia
  • Working knowledge of occupational safety and
    health legislation; and where relevant, the Aged Care Act (1997); and/or Disability Services Commission Standards (1988)
  • Evidence of Flu vaccination
  • First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)
  • Possess WA Drivers Licence 
  • Current satisfactory National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months)

 About you and what you will need:

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (or upcoming registration upon graduation)
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Deliver a strong clinical assessment service
  • Prescribe and maintain supportive equipment, technology, and seating
  • Lead the services therapy assistants, providing support to deliver person-centred therapy programs 
  • Have a satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • Evidence of Flu vaccination
  • Possess WA Drivers Licence 
  • First Aid certificate (less than 3 years old)
